What is the Bookworm Diner?

DATES January 28- March 25, 2019

The Bookworm Diner offers families of St. Bernard and Elmwood Place a Monday night meal and a family oriented reading environment.

Bookworm Diner is a community service, open to all families, sponsored by the Ministry and Outreach

offerings of Immanuel United Church of Christ

Meet the Chefs-The meal is served from 5:00-6:00

Who are the Guest Readers?

They are adults from the community who read 2-3 books to the Bookworm Diner families. Guests have included city workers and officials, teachers and administrators, pastors, and other friends.

Join Our Book Club?

YES! Students who are in the 3rd grade or higher will all read the same book at home and then discuss it together at the Bookworm Diner.
